Afternoon Delight
Lunch time:
nada...just snacking on a granola bar....apple slices and a whole lotta water :(

My Goals.....My Dreams
I have tried not to get to far ahead of myself because right now life is really a struggle for me and many others I'm sure.My short term goals are:
1.Lose weight & get healthy
2.Get back to work
3.Go back to college & get my degree
4. Work on making my overall life better in every aspect.
My background is I have been gainfully unemployed since 5/08 and it has not been a cakewalk by any m eans.I have tried re-training programs(epic fail) meaning nothing came of it.I attempted to g ro back to school however I was not able to get student loans because my credit has been challenged due to being unemployed and I was told I made too much money to get school grants because I had to use my 401k money after being unemployed for so long......not a sob story or me looking for sympathy but just what my reality has been. It's been a really bitter pill to swallow but I've had to put on the big girl panties and deal with it. So now what is my game plan:
To keep fighting regardless of the no's and the slammed doors because it's my life and simply I want all it has to offer me so I keep being up the fight very damn day until God says otherwise.

Day III- A morning of struggles
Good Day All!
Today is my morning of struggles.Let's see so first I drop off my siggy@ work and go to WallyWorld to buy some sweats and can only find 1 pair(yikes) then I remember it is essentially summertime.When I get back home I jump on the scale and boy am I in for a shock" 278.8 pounds" so that kinda ruined it for me.
So now back to the drawing board. I think I need to re-work my daily calorie allotment in order to lose weight so now I am going to consume between 1000-1200 daily so now breakfast:
Breakfast: 2 wraps w/turkey bacon/lettuce/tomato and a few drops of italian dressing=500 calories
(a little more than i should have eaten but it's ok b/c one day at a time).

Now for the Main Course :)
I pondered what was I going to have for dinner ???? I decided to make a gynormous salad with a ll the stuff I like(oh yeah)......now humor me(ha)..without further adieu....here's dinner:
Iceberg lettuce/sprouts/tomatoes/cucumbers/turkey bacon and 2 capfuls of dressing equaling 500 calories...I almost forgot to mention that I had a granola bar(220 calories) about 3:30 so basically I hit my mark of about 2000 calories a day and it is not as hard as I envisioned. What has been a great source of ideas for me has been Ali's show on the LiveWell Network. I highly suggest that anyone interested in making changes weight-wise check her out....she is awesome :) and yes I use my smileys alot because I am a happy person in spite of being "Obese" however I got tired of being sick and tired/lethargic,etc, I have been so inspired by Ali,Kirstie Alley,Jennifer Hudson and Chaka Khan (All women I admire for various reasons).If they can do it then so can I so stay tuned and God Bless.

Where Do I begin??
The million dollar question is where do I begin and how do I start? There are so many variables on this journey I am presently on like:Can I really do this ? The time has come for me to realize that I have the power to enable myself to become VaVa Voom. Stay tuned as I transform before my eyes,your eyes and God's eyes............
